Purpose: To promote peace with neighboring Communities as a foundation for economic development and effective planning and management of natural resources.
Land & Natural Resource Management
Wildlife management cannot take place in isolation from the habitats in which wildlife live and the natural resources on which they depend.
Livestock Management
Purpose: To maximize income from livestock, and improve livestock health, while minimizing impact on the environment and ensuring coexistence with wildlife.
Infrastructure Development
Conservancies invest in infrastructure and equipment both to facilitate effective Conservancy management as well as to improve access to transport for Community
Enterprise
Conservancies engage in enterprise development to generate income as well as to leverage support for conservation from Communities through diversifying livelihoods.
Community Engagement
To encourage Community participation in decision making; to ensure Community access to services such as health, water and education,
