The process of establishing African Wildlife Rescue Center began in 1992 after several unsuccessful attempts by non-state actors in the sector to establish a national representative forum that would convene and advance the aspirations and interests of communities and private landowners living with wildlife.

Breakfast With Orangutan

Orangutans are generally non-aggressive toward humans and each other. Many individuals reintroduced into the wild after having been in managed care are aggressive towards humans.

Give Food For Giraffe

Giraffe are predominantly browsers and mainly eat leaves and buds on trees and shrubs. They will also eat herbs, climbers and vines, and prefer flowers and fruit when in season.

Tour ticket prices are very affordable. You are welcome to visit African Wildlife Rescue Center and it partner Zoos to see newly rescued wildlife and the rehabilitation process
